SeaSucker Roof Rack Review - 2013 Ram 2500- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Ram 2500, we're going to be doing a test fit on the SeaSucker Monkey Bar Roof Rack System, part number 298-SX6000.Now, as you can see, we have the front bar installed. Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now, what sets this roof rack apart from a lot of other roof racks that you could have for your truck, rather than having the traditional clamp style, which comes under your doorframe right here, it uses suction cups to secure it to the roof of your vehicle. Each suction cap has a 210 pound pull capacity, so it's going to be very sturdy and hold up to rough conditions.As you can see, we have the round bars on here. You will have some wind noise and drag, but you can purchase a fairing separately at etrailer.com to install right here and take away a lot of that wind noise and drag. It uses a plunger system right here to secure itself to the roof. more

Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2017 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2017 Ram 1500, we're going to be test-fitting the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System. Now, this consists of part numbers RRVA150B-2. Those are the crossbars, and part number RRLKVA. Those are the Rhino-Rack 2500 series legs for the vortex aero crossbars, and then part number DK043, and this is the custom-fit kit for this vehicle. The Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories ranging from cargo baskets to enclosed cargo boxes to bike racks and to ski carriers, pretty much anything that you can't put in the bed of your truck once it's filled up. Now, both bars have a nice, aerodynamic shape to them, and that coupled with the vortex strips at the top are going to cut down the wind, noise and drag while you're driving. more

Today on 2017 RAM 2500 we'll be taking a look at the Rhino Rack Roof Rack kit. This is consisting of part numbers RRVA150B-2, those are going to be our Vortex Aero Crossbars. The next part number is RRRLKVA, those are our Rhino Rack 2500 Series legs. For our foot kit the part number is going to be DK043. Now you'll see we already have our front bar installed. We're going to put together our last leg kit and then show you how to load this back bar up onto our vehicle. Everything that you see here comes in our kit. more

Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2017 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2017 RAM 1500 we'll be taking a look at the Yakima Roof Rack. This is consisting of the Yakima Jet Stream Cross Bars, part number Y00426, the Yakima Baseline Towers, part number Y000146, and the Yakima Base Clip Fit Kits for our RAM 1500, using part number Y06135. The Yakima Roof Rack Fit Kit allows you to carry any roof rack accessories on your vehicle's roof, whether that's bike racks, cargo baskets, cargo boxes, or water sport accessories. The cross bars themselves are an aerodynamic shape, so they're going to be quiet, reduce wind noise and drag. They also come with weather strips to help keep dirt, debris, and liquid out of your cross bars. It's going to provide a little bit of extra cushion and allow you to carry channel mounted accessories. The weight capacity of this kit is 165 pounds, though you do want to check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure it can withstand that much weight. The cross bars themselves are 60" long, though you can get longer or shorter bars, you just want to make sure that they don't extend out past your vehicle's side view mirrors. more

Whispbar Roof Rack Review - 2015 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2015 RAM 1500, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Whispbar Flush-Mounted Roof Rack System. This is going to be part number WB-S11 and our Fit Kit here for the vehicle specific for the Ram is going to be WB-K548. We'll also be using a tape measure and your tool that's included. Let's go ahead and get started in showing you how to assemble the foot pack and the Fitting kit to get it together and on the vehicle. Go ahead and unlock it, slide the casing off by pushing and pulling on it like so. Then we're going to take our foot, our window clamp which is going to be for the back-hand side, it's going to be 766A, and on the front it's going to be 765. If you look on it the numbers will be printed on it. more

Thule Roof Rack Review - 2014 Ram 1500- Video
Today on our 2014 Ram 1500 we're going to be test fitting the Thule Rapid Traverse roof rack system. We're using the 60" aero blades. That's part number THARB60, the Rapid Traverse foot packs, which are part number TH480R, and the Thule fit kit, part number TH1520. Now we already have the rear bar installed on our vehicle so we're going to show you how to install the front. We'll begin by opening our doors. Once we have them open we're going to place the roof rack right up onto the front edge of our roof. Once we have it in place there we need to do a couple measurements. more
